Breast
Cancer Support Group started in 2003 for women in all
stages of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment as well
as for the survivors. These very strong women have made
this a resounding success! They meet once a month on
third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held in
NLCC Lunch Room and begin at 4:15 PM and generally last
1 hour. They have had speakers, raised funds, helped and
supported each other. Anyone with breast cancer
diagnosis is welcome to attend these meetings. Meeting
dates and details are posted in the News & Events
section of our website. If you wish to be notified via
email please contact Stephanie at 860-443-4455.
Connections Program was initiated in 2001 for providing
a “connection” for all patients, past and present. This
program “links” a new patient with someone who has
finished therapy for similar illness. Survivors have
benefited by sharing their experiences with those
beginning their journey and patients that are beginning
their journey have benefited from “connecting” with a
survivor! They find hope and gain a better understanding
of their illness and treatments. If you are interested
in “connecting” please contact Stephanie at
860-443-4455.
